I have a minor issue I cannot seem to resolve - the upvote/downvote count vanishes immediately after reloading the page. I am using Librewolf (that is based on Firefox) and I have tried to disable uBlock Origin entirely but I can't get it to display correctly. Anyone else ran into this and found a solution? Thanks!

The server hosting the site keeps rebooting and I don't have an ETA to have it fixed, pictrs is wonky because of it. If you get an error just retry in a minute, it restarts pretty quickly.

Pretty much all of the steel campus was built by my wife, with the exception of the belting. She is somehow GREAT with building facades, in a way that I just haven't been able to match.

I teased her today about how much she explicitly wanted to highlight this tree, and then never actually finished that idea.

Meanwhile, in singleplayer, the Nobelisk factory is down to JUST needing lighting.

Una telefonata intercontinentale costa ancora oggi; quella su WhatsApp, su Signal, Telegram o altra appa di messaggistica è gratuita, se hai una rete WiFi e/o una connessione dati stabile. In realtà i primi a offrire il servizio di telefonia furono quelli Messanger di Facebook, ma poi quando la società fondata da Mark Zuckerberg acquisì nel 2014 WhatsApp, il traffico telefonico si è trasferito quasi del tutto su questa piattaforma. Ciò è dovuto all’intuizione dei fondatori di legare il servizio al numero telefonico di rete mobile. Così molta gente iniziò a confondersi chiamando attraverso la rete WhatsApp al posto della rete mobile di telefonia cellulare. Poi accadde che sempre più persone iniziarono a usare la connessione dati sempre tutto il giorno, probabilmente per ricevere le notifiche in tempo reale o per altre esigenze. La connessione dati disturba le telefonate normali, andrebbe staccata ogni volta. Negli ultimi tempi quasi tutti gli operatori di telefonia hanno attivato il VoLTE, la tecnologia che consente di effettuare chiamate audio sulla rete 4G/LTE. Il servizio garantisce una migliore qualità dell’audio e permette di navigare contemporaneamente in 4G/4G+/5G su internet o sulle app durante una chiamata. Ma intanto sempre più utenti si erano abituati a chiamare tramite WhatsApp molto più stabile; così di fatto si sono disabituati a chiamare attraverso la rete mobile del proprio operatore commerciale. Ma così facendo hanno concesso senza accorgersene il controllo di tutte le proprie comunicazioni al fondo americano che controlla META e che influenza le scelte politiche dei governi a livello globale. A dire il vero ci sono anche altre piattaforme come la russa Telegram o l’europea tedesca SIGNAL; ma la stragrande maggioranza degli utenti italiani usa WhatsApp confondendo una chiamata vocale su rete cellulare da quella effettuata con WhatsApp. A quanti di noi è capitato che un amico ci chiedesse il perché non abbiamo risposto a una sua chiamata? Oppure ci guarda basito se gli rispondiamo: “Guarda non mi hai telefonato, ma hai chiamato attraverso WhatsApp?!”. Intanto la piattaforma di Meta non fa nulla per evitare la confusione. Ancora oggi quando chiamiamo via WhatsApp, anche se dall’altra parte del telefono non è attiva l’App, al chiamante appare la dicitura “CHIAMATA IN CORSO” al posto del più giusto “NON È POSSIBILE CHIAMARE. Solo negli ultimi periodi se il telefono squilla realmente su WhatsApp dall’altra parte appare la dicitura “Il telefono sta squillando”; ma la confusione continua a regnare sovrana.
