A SolarPunk Manifesto

Basic Rules:

be constructive: there is no need of another internet space full of competition, negativity, rage etc.;
no bigotry, including racism, sexism, ableism, transphobia, homophobia or xenophobia;
be empathic: empathy is more rebellious than a middle finger;
no porn and no gore: let's keep this place easy to manage;
no ads / spamming / flooding, we don't want to buy/consume your commodified ideas;
occasional self-promotion by active members is fine.

If you know any good youtube channels, please share them too. When I searched for stuff, it's mostly 5 min craft stuff.

Actionable stuff that most people would benefit from, the simpler/easier, the better.

Sir Keir Starmer has been criticised for meeting China’s president Xi Jinping just hours before 45 Hong Kong pro-democracy activists were sentenced for attempting to field opposition candidates in an election.

Among those sentenced were Benny Tai, who was jailed for 10 years and Joshua Wong, sentenced to four years, for “subversion” after being involved in the “Hong Kong 47” group of activists and lawmakers.

The imprisonments were the largest use of the authoritarian National Security Law brought in to clamp down on democracy in Hong Kong in 2019.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, former chair of the Democratic Party in Hong Kong, Emily Lau, suggested Sir Keir’s meeting with Xi at the G20 a mere hours before the sentencing meant the UK’s agreements with China over the governance of the territory before its handover in 1997 were “evaporating”.

I'm considering switching to RHEL, to get a "professional" Linux, since it's free if you register an account, but is it worth it?
Is the experience very different from Fedora?

Insgesamt kann man sagen: "Schalten Sie runter auf 30" ist ein absolut vernünftiger Rat – ein guter Kompromiss aus Reinheit und Energiesparen. Wäscht man dann eben bestimmte Wäsche doch ab und zu auf 60 °C, dann hat man alles richtig gemacht.

The Paris City Council on Wednesday approved its "bioclimatic" urban development plan, designed to address climate challenges, housing shortages and urban expansion.
