Lemmy might be like Reddit, but Lemmy's not Reddit.

The steam deck uses KDE, so the most popular Linux desktop device is going to be showcasing what flatpak is(n't) capable of.

This is largely a problem thanks to the GNOME developers though, refusing to play nicely with anyone else and acting like their way is THE way.

It does have HDR support already though, it's just via GameScope.

Just like on Reddit where you have /r/a_thing and /r/athing

I'm hoping Slide for Reddit gets resurrected and ported over to be Slide for Lemmy

At the very least, it's super simple to do in Jerboa if you have accounts on each.

I mean literally just register your account again. Maybe subscribe to the communities you like on each account if you have the time to, but if not just reserve your username on each and have them saved in your password manager and ready to go in case of a break-glass incident.

They kinda can't be a spez, by design. Just make sure you make backup accounts on all the other instances, and use them occasionally

Can the owner of this sublemmy update it to reflect the current state of affairs?

OG gen 2 or 3 are tied for first, but if I had to pick one, it'd be 3. The remakes were decent but felt off.

I'm hoping Slide for Reddit becomes Slide for Lemmy

I know it's unmaintained, but I really love the UI for "Slide for Reddit" and hope the dev for that picks it back up and maps the data inputs to Lemmy. Keep the UI exactly the same (maybe add tiny icons to the left of sublemmy names but that's it).
