Looks like an awesome project!
What I'd really like to see is more open source software making it's way into healthcare and med-tech.
I think their donations are handled by OpenCollective inc. rather than the OCF but I might be wrong
I hadn't tried them until I went to one of their shops last year to try them on. I didn't really expect to like them, but wanted to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. They are now my favourite, most comfortable shoes (although sometimes I wish they had a slightly thicker sole). It is worth noting that the insole they come with didn't last very well though (it started to crumple up in the shoe and became uncomfortable) so I replaced it with a cheap regular insole I found online and it made them even more comfortable (a bit more cushioning but still a wide toe box and flexible shoe).
I've been enjoying my Vivo barefoot shoes. But obviously they're only really good if you like having a thin sole on the shoe. They have a repair service though so that's one of the reasons I recommend them.
It would be amazing to see an electric or hydrogen fuel cell version of one of these
It's like John Green says about football, it's the most important unimportant thing
And that's how you got your name?
Unfortunately his party are climate change deniers... So that's a bit disappointing
I don't have any advice, but I just wanted to confirm I have the same issue sometimes with my laptop running fedora.
I use a Zenbook 14 (an old one though from 2017) and I've not had audio issues on fedora since I made the switch to Linux last year. One thing I do still have issues with is sometimes it fails to sleep/suspend correctly. This isn't a consistent issue though and it seems to be a gamble on if each update will fix it or make it worse. Still not been a big enough issue to make me stop using Linux.
But yeah to answer your question, I've had no audio issues on my Zenbook 14 (other than a slight popping type noise when audio starts playing when I use headphones)
It's frustrating because there are a few people I like, like John Green, who are on threads but not the rest of the fediverse
