I understand the developer, but the complete lack of communication with the community is appalling. and even the subsequent app updates to ad-supported/tracker-packed versions is just disgusting. i understand why tibbi burned out, but the sale process was handled in extremely poor way

I may be wrong, but I remember that if you create your own app, it should include either all premium features or none at all.

this is against the terms of use of the Telsgram API, but you can find hacked clients on Mobilism

it is convenient mostly for developers, not people.

without memories I would probably have left nextcloud. it's really strange that this basic feature has been gone for so long!

I like both apps, especially with the sorting ☺️

I would like to share with you a very cool project that develops drivers for correct operation of Microsoft Surface devices on Linux. I myself use Surface Pro 6 with these drivers and everything works like a charm (battery life is good, cameras work, stylus, keyboard, touchscreen, screen). The developers are gods. From myself, I would recommend using Fedora Linux distribution, as I got the best battery life on it and didn't experience any additional bugs. If you don't like GNOME, you can try spins.

I recently found out that Signal supports stickers created by users and was very happy about it. For me, the easiest way to install was this site. Thank you, Signal developers!

KeepassDX. Is it a dead project? (raw.githubusercontent.com)

I really like using KeepassXC on a computer. On Android, I found KeepassDX to be the best client. But the last commit was from March and it confuses me. Do you think the project was abandoned or just a person took a break from development?

Link to article from main Lemmy❤️ developer about Signal privacy. Mostly fair points. I kinda distrust so centralized services but basically we have no other options (Matrix is buggy in many aspects). What can you say about this article?

I understand that probably there is little interest if you are a device ROM maintainer to embed a backdoor into it. But it's still possible. Lineage has a fairly simple and open build process. Should I do it on my own? Or should I trust the maintainers and not bother? What are your thoughts?

Now I'm playing this game and I realize that it's too scary for me. And I understand that I will not be able to continue playing further. Very cool controls, a sense of weapon, monsters, people, raids. But I can't, my nerves can't stand it. What is your experience with this game?

I think this will be useful for newcomers!
