I would like to see the host push ads, so that it's sustainable. It doesn't have anything negative to the community except it will sustain the instance do does the Fediverse.

I don't want to be telling the devs what to do with their software, but it is crucial for an everyday app like this to be open-source bc of privacy and security.

I want to know the software I run is secure.

It can go even darker, the capitalists don't have to go by their own name and be disruptive all they want, the community always need to sort this out or nothing in the open source Fediverse would work.

We definitely need GPL-alike mechanism in the early age of AI, we most likely need that too in the distant future.
