Can't wait for them to say, "WHY didn't you do anything?" When climate change annihilates their farms.

Thank you for posting this stringent explanation of the madness going on here.

Mixed market (socialism) still sucks ass in the long run. What I've seen of the situation in the EU the last decade has proven to me that it's a pipe dream. It's better than just capitalism, but it's not enough. It's weak to fascism (authoritarian capitalism). You wanna take meat off the menu? Seize production. It's well past the time for half measures, especially if intending on policies like this.

Seize production

who is gonna seize it? The Majority wants to eat Meat. So if we're going by the "WiLl oF tHE mASsEs", we'd be increasing Meat production

btw, social democracy is the best way to lead a Market. Look at what the non-capitalist nations went through. China was going through mass-starvations before they finally privatized and opened up and since then they've become a major world power.

Accept it, Communism is a Pipe-Dream.

P.S: Calling capitalism fascism is an affront to all the victims of actual fascism

You're so wrong, and your little P.S. really pushes just how wrong. You don't even know definitions. China is state capitalist, also.

China is state capitalist, also.

Yes. Would you look at that. China became Capitalist and now its citizens aren't starving anymore.

seems like you got my argument. good.

P.S:

You’re so wrong

Nice argument there, buddy.

Only 5% of US Citizens are vegetarian, so please go ahead and tell me how those 5% represent the majority.

In Germany and the UK it's about 6-7%. Not really a Majority either, right?

They were never communist, just as Hitler wasn't a socialist. I never said vegetarians represent the majority, nor did I say that I approve of them taking meat off the menu. I eat meat. I was saying their methods for achieving their goal aren't effective. If people are going to riot either way, go all out. Clearly you're not capable of listening so I'm not gonna bother. People have already said everything you've said and been told in great detail why they're wrong. Political theory is a big subject and the internet is a big place, you should look into them sometime.

"Do your own research" is always a great argument

Discussion of climate, how it is changing, activism around that, the politics, and the energy systems change we need in order to stabilize things.

As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming

How much each change to the atmosphere has warmed the world: IPCC AR6 Figure 2 - Thee bar charts: first chart: how much each gas has warmed the world. About 1C of total warming. Second chart: about 1.5C of total warming from well-mixed greenhouse gases, offset by 0.4C of cooling from aerosols and negligible influence from changes to solar output, volcanoes, and internal variability. Third chart: about 1.25C of warming from CO2, 0.5C from methane, and a bunch more in small quantities from other gases. About 0.5C of cooling with large error bars from SO2.

Recommended actions to cut greenhouse gas emissions in the near future:
