The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict[f] is an ethnic and territorial conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, inhabited mostly by ethnic Armenians until 2023, and seven surrounding districts, inhabited mostly by Azerbaijanis until their expulsion during the 1990s. The Nagorno-Karabakh region has been entirely claimed by and partially controlled by the breakaway Republic of Artsakh, but is recognized internationally as part of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan gradually re-established control over Nagorno-Karabakh region and the seven surrounding districts since 2020.
2021–present
Twelve Azerbaijani civilians and two soldiers were killed in 2021, by landmine explosions. Seventeen Armenian and ten Azerbaijani soldiers were also killed in shoot-outs in the border area, while 38 Armenian soldiers were captured. Twenty-eight of the captured Armenian soldiers were subsequently released.
In 2022, three Armenian soldiers were killed and 14 wounded in an attack by Azerbaijani drones in Nagorno-Karabakh on 25 March.
The fatalities of the current war, is how i imagined wars when i was younger. Soldiers in combat with other soldiers. Civilian casualties "only" through landmines.
No raiding, raping, torturing & murdering of civilians as a sport of some sort

Not every conflict is between nations and the infobox has to work across different conflicts. Belligerents is probably the best option to label the sides of a conflict

Considering that western media is hysterically blaming Palestinians for Israeli atrocities now, I'd say it's rather Israel's (alleged) "plight" that's getting the limelight - not Gaza.
Also Tigray, Congo, Nicaragua, Kurdistan, Xinjiang, Myanmar...
At least there’s some discussion about Israel committing genocide. The Azeri threat to Armenians in karbach has been getting ignored for years.
In fairness, there was no discussion when the Armenians genocided the Azeris to make the region so homogeneously Armenian in the first place.
Both are cases of one group of people committing genocide and another using that/desiring to use that as justification for commiting genocide in return. If you think Israelis should return the land to Palestine then that aligns more with Azerbaijan in that conflict. If you support the status quo or think Israel should have all their internationally recognised territory then that aligns more with Armenia.
The real drowning is the Sudan civil war
The Darfur conflict was my first eye opener to major powers pissing around while genocide happened. In fact that conflict is still going on as recent as last year.
I'm starting to think that the american media just focuses on whatever war is most advantageous for the american empire at the time.

From his Wiki page, he is in hiding and his army has all but entirely disbanded. It also notes that by 2012 he was already in hiding and and the US was already providing Uganda with military assistance against the terrorist group he founded.
