It's usually between someone you kinda don't like and someone you kinda like, so the stakes are lower. This year we had to choose between The Antichrist and Some Boring Lady, but this country hates women πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Then every single fucking day spanning the next 4 years they will continue to vote for all the republicans in the country (esp. Greg Abbott) by putting gas in their cars and using banks.

lol

Nah, fuck this mindset. I'm going to blame everyone who voted for the racist, homophobic rapist.

This is totally an aside but I didn't get bullet points at all from your post πŸ€” I wonder if that's a lemmy problem or a sync problem

What is it about the 60s that makes the laps so fast? Did they just switch tires, or get more gas, or it's the end of the tank so they're lighter, or what?

Here from the front page with only a passing understanding of F1 πŸ‘‹

Either something is lost in translation, or I'm missing something πŸ€” why is that a good response?

pays or offers to pay or accepts payment either for registration to vote or for voting

When even the Supreme Court Justices do not have ethics requirements, this is a conplete legal dead-end. Nobody was ever offered anything to register or to vote. Requiring that people are registered to enter is scummy and questionably-ethical, absolutely, but there is no law that actually links these things together, and no judge will convict him of any crime for this.

Musk has done plenty of things that are clear campaign finance violations or election interference, focus on those things.

I really enjoyed the movie, but the first two-thirds felt far better packaged and told than the latter third. I wish they had just stopped before the last arc and fleshed that out into its own movie - I was satisfied with the cliffhanger, and it felt far too rushed afterwards

Is that good or bad for the taste

They don't have to be specific. Protesting literally anything negative would naturally be pushing against several of Trump's policies.

And to be clear, posting on X is in no way related to leadership duties at X.

Spoiler: Elon doesn't actually do anything. He posts to X an average of every like 20 minutes, literally all day and night. He doesn't have time for anything except low-effort trolling.

Yeah, you definitely have to go into the game with the right expectations. I loved it, but I was also in the perfect headspace for a very slow, chill experience.
