bets on his real height and weight?

[–] jeffw@lemmy.world 32 points 1 year ago

I, for one, am offended that you are implying White House doc and totally non-partisan dude Ronny Jackson would have been embellishing things when he said Trump was a paragon of mental and physical health.

[–] Elderos@lemmings.world 19 points 1 year ago

$10 he personally call them out for inflating his weight, bad lighting, and etc.

I’m 6’1” (186cm) barefoot and measured. Trump claims to be 6’3” (190cm).

I stood next to a wax statue of him at Madame Tussaud’s, which is famous for its exact replicas, and I was comfortably an inch taller than that statue and it was in heeled shoes (I was wearing flat-soled Connie’s), so Trump is 6’0” max, but my guess is he’s just under - maybe 5’11” (183cm).

Nah, he’s taller than 5’9”, but he’s definitely not the 6’3” he claims to be. Not even close. I’d bet my last dollar that barefooted he’s pretty close to 5’11”.

I'm marginally taller than Donald Trump. I win!

You can agree to a bail amount before being arrested? What the fuck? I don't know why but this makes me really angry.

[–] droans@lemmy.world 16 points 1 year ago

He's just a poor little baby who committed some light treason, give him a break 🥺

[–] Chozo@kbin.social 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don’t know why but this makes me really angry.

Oh, I can think of a few reasons why.

[–] Rivalarrival@lemmy.today 3 points 1 year ago

About 200,000 reasons...

[–] Son_of_dad@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

Also his bond is lower than what it is for petty criminals

[–] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago

This is why they tell you to lawyer up.

"Sex offender outraged at being arrested."

[–] iHUNTcriminals@lemm.ee 23 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Damn sorry to the cop that checks him in...

[–] Narrrz@kbin.social 47 points 1 year ago (3 children)

ACAB includes the guy on desk duty who has to process the first former president of the USA to ever be held accountable for his crimes.

Just pretend you don't know who he is. It's a very basic mind game but it'll work on him.

And what's your name then?

[–] iHUNTcriminals@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

I meant the guy that has to watch him spread his asshole during check in.

[–] badbrainstorm@lemmy.world 28 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (2 children)

Why? They bought him

In 2016, there were about 7,000 contributions from police. In 2020, there were more than 46,000, totaling more than $2.75 million.

[–] Piecemakers3Dprints@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Put down the hopium pipe, son.

[–] Artisian@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Eh - surely this is because one party (rightly) had a platform of cutting police funding. Selfish explains most of this, surely?

[–] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 8 points 1 year ago

To be fair, that's from Breitbart, so it could be a lie.

Mug shot, or it didn't happen!

[–] electrogamerman@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago (2 children)

This means he not longer can run for president, right?.... RIGHT!?

[–] dx1@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

There is the Disqualification Clause of the 14th amendment:

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

So, let's see how indictment number, uh, whatever the insurrection one was, goes.
