I’m about fucking sick of “falsely claimed”.

[–] blackbarn@lemm.ee 19 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

Is it so hard to say "lied". Like give me a break

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Or at least say, "Trump demonstrates his continued ignorance on economic issues"

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Except that we know he knows he's lying.

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Easier to convince people he's a dumbass than it is to convince people it's an act.

"Job Data" isn't created by the Federal Government, dipshit.

[–] UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world 19 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Strictly speaking, it's assembled and released by the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, which is absolutely a federal agency.

But the sources for the data are diverse, public, and easily reproducible. It's not just the commissioner pulling numbers out of a hat.
