~~Come on. We're better than that.~~

Welcome to the rice fields motherfucker. Sick of MAGA.

[–] DogPeePoo@lemm.ee 63 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (2 children)

Fuck MAGA right in its weird pussy™️

[–] Cronization@lemmy.world 47 points 3 months ago (3 children)

I wouldn't recommend that. You'd probably catch something weird.

[–] cdf12345@lemm.ee 23 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Careful, that’s how you get MTG

[–] adespoton@lemmy.ca 12 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Remember the days when Sarah Palin was the weird one?

It should be noted that they don’t specify what MAGA would be getting fucked with. That leaves open the option for many dramatically unpleasant objects.

[–] digredior@lemmynsfw.com 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Like a glowing iron rod perhaps?

[–] don@lemm.ee 5 points 3 months ago (1 children)

What’s causing it to glow? Intense heat, or an immense amount of ionizing radiation?

[Scanning comment for edits. No edits found.]

While they don’t openly endorse it, they don’t outright forbid it, either. You should be good to go.

[–] digredior@lemmynsfw.com 3 points 3 months ago

Flying flesh eating saber-toothed crotch crickets?

Or the dia-gono-chla-herpe-syphil-aids?

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Dude. You never... ever... fuck crazy.

[–] Nuke_the_whales@lemmy.world 38 points 3 months ago

I've always hated that the Dems will worry about decorum while Republicans are constantly ignoring it. Glad they're growing some balls and calling these assholes out

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 3 months ago

I miss papa franku

[–] LEDZeppelin@lemmy.world 93 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He’s telling it like it is

[–] JimmyBigSausage@lemm.ee 22 points 3 months ago
[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 85 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Except he didn’t call Vance a couch fucker.

He just said if he could get off the couch, he’d debate be happy to debate him.

Don’t strip walz of the glorious subtleties.

[–] friendlymessage@feddit.org 16 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Well, the "you see what I did there" was not subtle but pretty great

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 26 points 3 months ago (1 children)

He was calling him lazy.

We all saw it.

That’s what I’m telling my parents and you will not ruin it.

[–] friendlymessage@feddit.org 4 points 3 months ago

Hehe, alright

[–] Mishmash2000@lemmy.nz 65 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (5 children)

He wouldn't have to if his opponents weren't a self confessed couch molester and an ex President who is a 34 times convicted felon?! Now only one of these is literally true, but which one?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

EDIT: re-attached missing limb

EDIT: what's going on?! I have my forearm back but I've lost BOTH upper arms?!

EDIT: I have succesfully re-attached all limbs but now I'm trapped in this grey box?!

EDIT: I was actually nervous to make one more edit, but I'm pleased to announce that the procedure was a complete success! All limbs have been restored and the patient is recovering well!

[–] cm0002@lemmy.world 33 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Hey, did you know there's a special federal law that kicks in when you have 34 felonies? Yea just tell all your conservative ~~friends~~ acquaintances to Google "Trump Rule 34"

[–] fartsparkles@sh.itjust.works 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)
[–] I_Fart_Glitter@lemmy.world 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Hey! We’re name buddies!

[–] Emperor@feddit.uk 15 points 3 months ago

That's kinda beautiful.

The couch thing is a myth, but it's still funny to propagate it anyway.

[–] MushuChupacabra@lemmy.world 17 points 3 months ago

I believe the couch.

[–] NotAnotherLemmyUser@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

Here, you dropped this \ To prevent anymore lost limbs throughout the fediverse, correctly escape the arms and shoulders by typing the shrug as

¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯

Edit: Fixed missing arms as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

[–] Mishmash2000@lemmy.nz 4 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Cheers! I wondered where that went??! I'll get it re-attached asap!

I caught the “if he can get off the couch” joke, but did he actually use the words “couch fucker”?

[–] modifier@lemmy.ca 115 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (2 children)

No, and I kind of hate these recent memes for that reason. His joke was a lot more subtle and could as easily be about the fact that the original meme caught on because these guys are so weird, but it wasn't an outright accusation, and this meme has "couch fucker" in actual quotes, like he actually said that. It would be moronic of Walz to outright call Vance a couch fucker and now there is this meme floating around making it look like he did.

I hate to be a downer but this is toxic.

Edit: to the point where I would seriously question the true intent of the meme.

[–] Furbag@lemmy.world 28 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'm with you on this one. This sort of thing robs him of the wholesomeness of his persona with a genuine untruth. It's a big turnoff for some people.

[–] orcrist@lemm.ee 3 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I'm not sure who you think is going to be turned off. He mentioned the couch meme in somewhat distant language, so that if you didn't know what it was then you wouldn't know what he was talking about. The prudish folk who would be upset at such a meme's existence didn't look it up.

And everyone else recognizes that while the man looks to be wholesome in general, he's not Mother Teresa and no one wants him to be. He's supposed to be the vice president, not Santa Claus. He's not allowed to tell a joke? Come on now. You can find something better to worry about than this.

[–] half_fiction@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 months ago

They're talking about the meme. Walz's comment was an "if you know, you know" kind of joke. Totally fine and funny. The meme, however, distilled it down to a "direct" quote that he didn't even say, calling Vance a "couch fucker"--you don't need to look that up to take issue with it.

I'm not sure I have an issue with the meme, but I see their point.

No, just that. I love the "see what I did there?"

[–] shutz@lemmy.ca 32 points 3 months ago (3 children)

I hope SNL get Steve Martin to play him.

[–] AlligatorBlizzard@sh.itjust.works 32 points 3 months ago (1 children)

I think I saw that Steve Martin said no.

How about Al Franken?

[–] Monument@lemmy.sdf.org 7 points 3 months ago

That’s a great idea. I’ll see what I can do to make it happen.

Unfortunately he declined the role, they did offer it. I agree it would've been a good casting.

I like him because he speaks his mind and tells it like it is.

[–] Snapz@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

You mean he called his couch fucking and felony convicted adversaries those horrible names?

[–] p5yk0t1km1r4ge@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

My god we needed this.

[–] afivedaystorm@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

Love it. Walz is great.

[–] DoucheBagMcSwag@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Now we just need to see ads with this same energy

I'm already seeing a "border czar" one and it gets my piss to a boil because it's absolutely not true

Except with trumps and vances track record, there is facts; not lies and blatant conjecture.

The time for going high when they go low is over with

"You know why Trump and Vance are....weird? Well..." The shit writes itself
