I never claimed to support genocide. I claimed that it is better to vote for the better option of the two

I voted for Harris too.

However, none of that discounts that she was pro-genocide, just like Trump. And it's hardly reasonable to ask families of people your genociding to vote for you.

At what level of genocide do you say "I can't support this"?

Like a new vein of ore discovered in some far off land?

Yeah, that's what caused a lot of wars, and financial bubbles.

Tell the families who are dead and asked to vote FOR genocide that they lack nuance when they refuse to support either of the people who want their people genocide.

At what point does genocide cross the line for you?

Without going into the weeds and all, given they all are in the same project, regardless...

You said "a gui for managing systemd", so which part? Boot, udev, and journal? All three are required and not optional for systemd the OS infrastructure layer suite (or whatever it's called these days), so minimally, assume that?

If so, what kind of sane gui could manage those three very disparate things?

Those are all things systemd manages.... as well as logs, udev, etc etc.

What kind of gui too could you even imagine would sanely present all of that?

Why the requirement to get within 50 yds? With a scope and a decent rifle, you can easily hit up to 300m without that much effort. Wouldn't even need a spotter at that range.

[–] ubergeek@lemmy.today 1 points 2 days ago

If you can hit center mass at 150 and 200 yds, you'll be fine at 168 yds :)

Ethics were never a thing in US politics.

Power was. And that's all. Power, with a veneer of "gentlemanly behavior".

He doesn't want them gone, and neither do any other oligarch.

They want them in a grey legal area, so they can be exploited more efficiently, is all.

Keep illegal immigrants working in farm work. Now, they have now labor protections, and BOOM! MOAR PROFITS!

That's all.
