You are clearly mistaken. The CIA actually keeps millions of clones in underground bunkers all over the world, and then tunneled them deep underground in order to smuggle them into Kyiv for the maiden protests.

At this point, anyone who is taking anything Russia says about this conflict seriously is very clearly not operating in good faith.

To be fair, they immediately give the option to disable it.

Agreed, there is a ton of internalized exposition in the books which can't be done on the screen without it getting awkward. I have also generally enjoyed the show so far, and I think the pacing is actually pretty good. There are definitely times in the books where we are getting "scale" via brute force word count, and the visual medium definitely opens some things up in that regard.

This was a guilty pleasure of mine as well for a long time but it started making my feed too fucking weird to the point where I was nervous about even loading YouTube in front of other people.

Blue crab is basically the best tasting food there is IMO.

Just in general, discount airlines are always better to book directly through the website because they will give you options to bundle upgrades much cheaper during that initial purchase than later on. It is often like $75 for a seat upgrade, checked bag and priority boarding, vs $70 just for the bag if you do it later on.

When you go to check in online, I bet you can just put your passport number in the web form and that should be fine. I also seriously doubt they are going to charge you to show your passport at the ticket desk, but I haven't flown Ryanair recently so who knows.

It's funny because Māo is actually Chinese for "cat"

I think that when you deny individuals agency by assuming they are brainwashed, then it's difficult to have democracy.

I mean sure, it would be weird if you went around and told people you are very not racist without solicitation. But it would also be weird if you were like "hand me the rope, I'll do it myself" if the topic of conversation was explicitly "all white people are racist and should be murdered."

That fact that you are unable or unwilling to synthesize this distinction independently speaks volumes.

So you want like some mandatory Ludovico Technique for this piece of information, or what? There's literally a library of Congress article. It has been part of AP US history for as long as I can remember. I'm not even sure what point you are trying to make. That there are tons of wilfully ignorant people in the US (true)? Or that this piece of history has been censored (objectively false)?
