Judging by what the app told me, I suspect they only punish bad parkers if they get fined. So yeah, they should definitely enforce it more, because if it hits people in the pocket, they'll quickly fix their behaviour. Imagine if you can save 25% by just not being a prick.

If the price can come down that would be amazing. The idea of charging you so much to use your own body is crazy.

You mean removing all the parks in favour of car parks and apartments wasn't actually a good idea and that the short-term profiteering will have long-term consequences that we'll be paying for for generations? Who foresaw such a thing?

There's definitely a level of showpersonship with transfer. Everything we hear about is on purpose. The clubs use rumours to flirt and agents use rumours to drum up interest and push things through.

We’re happy to announce the launch of Raspberry Pi Pico 2, our second-generation microcontroller board, built on RP2350: a new high-performance, secure microcontroller designed here at Raspberry Pi.

With a higher core clock speed, twice the memory, more powerful Arm cores, new security features, and upgraded interfacing capabilities, Pico 2 delivers a significant performance and feature uplift, while retaining hardware and software compatibility with earlier members of the Pico series.

Pico 2 is on sale now, priced at $5.

What is that game show where two people answer questions in a spiral? Wilhelm and Rainer were competing yesterday.

Obviously this is fucked. But the idea of a British crocodile expert was so foreign to me that I clicked this to see what hype beast it was because I assumed it was about a footwear expert 😭

The bit that interested me

At a dinner with his players, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta secretly hired a team of professional pickpockets. The sleight-of-hand artists were tasked with going round the tables, pinching phones and wallets from an unwitting first-team squad.

At the end of the meal, Arteta stood up and asked them the team to empty their pockets. A number of players were missing valuable items. The idea was to teach his squad the importance of being ready, alert and prepared — at all times.

Summary:

According to the video, a new study suggests that ancient Egyptians may have used hydraulic force to build the step pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser. The pyramid is the oldest of the seven monumental pyramids in Egypt and was the largest structure at the time, with stones weighing more than 600 pounds. Researchers believe that a nearby structure may have functioned as a dam, and that water could have flowed into shafts inside the pyramid, raising a float that carried the stones like a water elevator. However, some experts are skeptical of this theory, as there is no evidence that the Egyptians had the technology to use water pressure in this way. More research is needed to determine if this theory is correct.
