People's definitely agreed with and used his lines of argument, even though he intended them humorously. I don't know if he put out any conspiracy theories.

You could accidentally create new conspiracies, that people legitimately believe.

And I believe that the extra 15M votes in 2020 were an outlier (probably because of COVID) and we can't expect to see that kind of turnout again. Not unless something incredible happens.

And Kamala was not incredible.

That's not how this works. That's called "justification". I voted for Kamala, BTW.

I really do believe now that the Democrats are encouraging the worst, dumbest, insane opponents hoping that they'll find one that will finally push people to vote Democrat EVEN THOUGH they offer nothing.

All that is required for evil to flourish is that good men do nothing

You know what the lesser of two evils is?

Evil.

Must feel great only killing a few kids, huh?

[–] Melatonin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 10 hours ago

Now THAT GUY looks like a killer!

Either vote murdered Palestinians. What are you talking about?

Remember Stephen Colbert's satire? Conservatives loved him.

Satire of something already completely outlandish is problematic.

I will say, it would have been a great distinguishing stance, demonstrating backbone, morals, and character.

This is so Stupid. Nobody's mad at Harris. She's like Dry Toast. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.

Free or low cost?

Johnny Ganjaseed could be a reality.

  1. Are you, in your estimation, intelligent?
  2. Are you wise in the way you apply that intelligence? (interpretation yours)
  3. Do you view yourself as unique and individual, or as a data point on the spectrum of humanity?

In every swing state, Trump has either closed the gap if he was behind, or broadened the lead if he was ahead.

I'm not saying it's over, or that there can't be surprises, but it looks like the Democrats have failed to run a campaign that the American public found compelling.

Saying the public is stupid or racist or whatever doesn't cover it. The bottom line is the Democrats haven't put forth a plan or made a case that they can deal quickly with the problems in America.

They have made announcements about student loan plans and forgiveness that were blocked, making them look unorganized and ineffective. They lost abortion rights. They never make progress on healthcare or taxes on the wealthy.

I want to win. I think we should fight surer battles, and avoid battles that will lose. Blaming Republicans for stopping us just makes them seem stronger than us. Let's stop making excuses and go on the offensive. No more, "Well don't vote for HIM, he's so dumb!"

It's hasn't worked.

A fun show I hadn't heard of, my kids 7-13 love it, goofy but not laugh-out-loud like Bluey. Very tolerable for adults as well.

Worth a shot if you're looking for something new for the kids.

Rated G.

When you send a message to someone who has blocked you on iPhone, you get a green bubble. Same as you get when you text an Android user successfully.

I didn't think that was so hard to understand.

It just seems like it would be a really cool thing to have gills and be able to populate the oceans in the same way we populate the land. We could have houses and shops and vehicles, andgo on walks/swims and just kind of live underwater.

Start a whole new second species of human here on earth maybe, Who knows?
