For ebooks z-library is king. They even have an android app.

For music I use deezload2bot on telegram and save it on my sd card. Works great for me.

Why not aren't flatpaks safer. I removed firefox on tumbleweed and installed the flatpak because its updated faster.

I hope fossify tools are ready soon.

I'm quite happy with Tumbleweed. It's best of both for me, but still RPM based.

You can type in a fake mail address containing a name like Elon Musk or Bill Gates and after a few tries it will let you skip the login procedure and you can create a local account. It worked for me atleast when I had to set up a few windows machines for work.
