Yes. Jitsi was one of the best for a while. Secure and just works. I think Element wasn't e2e encrypted while debugging but I'm guessing is close to usable. I mentioned it more as a FOSS alternative.

Exploding heads was slow. Hexbear was instantaneous.

Read the Hexbear defederation post if you want to see how subjective it actually was.

Don't get me wrong, commies are badly misguided, but they can hold a good faith rational debate.

Or... he's just a dick. I don't hate him. Hate is an unnecessary negative emotion.

However, his track record is pretty damning, and if you think people dislike him only because the media tell them, then I'm afraid your ability to see and appraise information is pretty compromised.

Maybe. Mint came first, and I wonder what purposes those other ones were trying to serve. I don't know or care enough about the others. Do they differentiate enough to bother with?

I use Plasma and like it. I wouldn't have stuck around or really got started if it wasn't for Mint.

Only Manjaro. Every distro has something different. Unfortunately, regular breakages isn't a differentiation people are after.

Yes, but Ubuntu has snaps. Cinnamon is preferred by many to Gnome. It has clear differences.

Right now, there isn't a lot. It's just if something off topic or blatant advertising goes in. Users so far are pretty decent but with more mods, we can respond quicker. This request was more preemptive to remove the bus factor or holiday lag.

Check mod log to see actions so far (not a lot).

The most literal shitpost.

Ah, media implying fathers are absent from kids events in life. How unique...

Next week, dads are dumb, mom is clever.

Don't think of who to look up to, think about who you want to be. You clearly know what is right or wrong. Aim to be the guy you want to. Don't like cheating? Don't cheat. Like honesty? Be honest. The plus side is it is simple, you know what is right and you learn to respect yourself. Also be honest with your self and willing to learn and improve.

A book I found nice was No More Mr Nice Guy by Dr Robert Glover. The focus is on living by your integrity etc.
