Damn he likes his proteins misfolded
I don't get it, anyone carte to explain? I see it's some kind of protein but I have no idea what it's supposed to do
My suspicion is that it's supposed to be a prion which is a misfolded protein that causes other proteins to also misfold which eventually just makes a giant mess of your brain and kills you, similar to how a badly executed pivot table might crash your computer. The obvious difference is that we can't reboot your brain. The closest we've gotten is probably ECT, but even that's just mostly an in-joke between me and my coworkers about it just dumping all your neurotransmitters out so they can be marie-kondo-ed back into the right places.
Its a stupid, stupid meme made when I was tired. I took the image from here https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/life-rsquo-s-first-molecule-was-protein-not-rna-new-model-suggests/. The article says proteins were the first molecules on earth. So the protein is saying hmm I should clump together eventually forming RNA to eventually becoming DNA so one day I can be in cubicle doing Pivot Tables all day but in meme form. I made this when wondering WHY DID SINGLE CELL ORGANISMS ETC EVOLVE…THE WONDERS OF EVOLUTION…ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS LEARNING AGRICULTURE, MARKETS, FIEFDOMS, KINGDOMS, EMPIRES, INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION…INFORMATION AGE…all this so we are required to sit in a box all day looking at a screen to be able to afford to live…so I blame it on the first protein molecules. Based on the proteins misfolded comments I picked the wrong image lol.
