I wish this was a more hopeful film, but it does a good job of showing the bleak reality of what it's like when a union loses too many members. This was filmed before the fairly big upswing in union wins and media attention that seemed to happen in 2022 (which only seems to be growing stronger as time goes on). I hope the workers of 1196 are able to gather strength in the coming years as the US slowly decouples from China's manufacturing capability, as seems to (potentially) be on the horizon.
