The other thing I find fascinating is the temperature difference in new construction neighborhoods that have no trees vs old neighborhoods that have a lot of trees. I work outside all the time so I notice it, it's a big difference!

I live across the street from a very small park with grass and several oak trees. The cool breeze from the park in the summer was a bit shocking the first time I felt it.
