any of the makers just need to roll out a car with marketing like "too simple to spy on you" and get them out to reviewers with the know how to prove it, and people like me will come out from nowhere like bugs to drain the inventory

I mean... If you manufacture every new custom van for Amazon who are effectively replacing their entire fleet... That's kind of expected.
How many are they selling to anyone else? I'm willing to bet if you exclude Amazon purchases that sold number is miniscule.
How is it from a privacy perspective?
The automotive industry is the wild wild west in general. Regarding privacy, regulation is a myth.
I don't think we should rely on regulations anyway. I want to know if they bothered with B2B vehicles. And, if so, how I can modify it to make it safe. Same as I do with my other devices.
