Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

Even if it’s true, if the automakers can’t collect data on you, and also get the biggest profit margin possible (read: big expensive cars cost about the same as little simple ones to produce), they aren’t going to make them.

That's not true. The battery cost remains a substantial part of their cost, and is expensive for big and small vehicles.

We're only just reaching the point now where costs have come down and it's even possible to consider smaller vehicles that would be competitive and profitable.
