I am obviously well aware that there's tons of this out there; but I see substantially more posts complaining about those people than I've ever seen from those people
I imagine those opinions will be found mostly on Xitter, Facebook and YouTube comments. I don't browse them often but when I do, it's not looking great.

Honestly every time I open Facebook some sponsored bullshit pops up with a bunch of incels bitching about a game being woke. Like I don’t care about video games, I don’t care about Steve Bannons bitchmade online whining gang, I don’t care about “woke” media or whatever. Why does Facebook try to force feed it to me? I’m not interested. So I just use lemmy now.
Social media platforms inherently have a bias towards right-wing / reactionary bullshit. It's going to end in global tragedy.

You know, advertisers treat these ad recommendation algorithms like the second coming, but they sure seem like junk to me too. Same with family members that don't bother with any privacy/tracking settings.

This is so tiresome. Ciri is the logical progression. Besides, how annoying was her gameplay in W3? I hated how incomplete and forced it was. I want to see what an elder blood Witcher can do.
I mean the whole combat in TW3 sucked, not just Ciri's. I hope CDPR will make a better combat sytem for TW4, one that feels less bland and doesn't consist of dodge, light attack and quen spam.
Definitely frustrating having a cool teleporting ability with really flowing combat and have her whole play time be basically a point and click with a "boss fight" or two

I think some of my favorite "female warrior" getups are in LoK, like Korra's athletic, baggy-pants tribal getup or Asami's huge pockets for tools and weapons. But especially the Beifongs:

I dunno. Lots of details suggests bending, especially earthbending, follows Newton's Third Law of Motion to some extent. Like when toph and aang use an earth slab as an elevator, they are "grabbing" onto the earth wall, or when zuko's bending failure blows him back. There's a lot of it in Bitter Work in particular.
Even Zaheer ostensibly obeyed physics by just blowing air around him.
What I'm saying is that bending a metal suit doesn't let you fly without something else to push against... but maybe a good sandbender could take flight in a sandstorm?

If they're not gonna go the Dark Souls route and have the unrealistic armor realistically give no armor, I wouldn't mind the female battle underwear as much if they also had a male option. Conan the Barbarian just had undies on, too.

Sure, I’m sick of culture wars too, but the right is using culture wars to get people to vote for them so they can enact all their regressive policies on the “stuff that matters”.
Also we should laugh at people who really act like this about games because they fucking deserve it.
No one changes their behaviour by getting shamed about it. It only encourages them further. This is why you have Trump again in the US and why Reform UK is gaining popularity. Please take a moment to reflect and consider how we can build bridges. If things don’t get better, we’ll argue ourselves into the bottom of the most bottomless poverty as our bills soar and salaries freeze.
I won't build bridges with people who genuinely want to strip women and minorities of their basic human rights. That's beyond culture wars and is moving into dehumanization. For the people in those communities those are "things that matter". They can't worry about frozen salaries or bills if they aren't allowed to get proper healthcare or even exist. Maybe I'm part of the problem but I think you need to draw a line in the sand on certain issues.
I will build bridges with people who wake up and realize that it's not Left vs Right but Ultra Rich vs Everyone else. Problem is a lot of people just refuse to see it that way because of so many reasons.
In the end this is a shitpost community and my post isn't meant to do anything more than get a quick chuckle from a satire article.

I've clicked on "Don't recommend channel" on Youtube countless times and the videos still pop up, just because I'm interested in the occasional gaming news. The bitter Youtube comments are everywhere. This is one of the few places that allows you to vent from the "anti-woke".
