Summary

Russia allegedly sent incendiary devices to DHL hubs in Germany and the U.K. in July, intending to test a sabotage route that could ignite fires on aircraft bound for North America, according to Western officials.

Polish authorities have arrested four suspects, with two more sought. The devices, disguised as electric massagers with flammable magnesium, sparked fires at DHL centers in Leipzig and Birmingham.

European intelligence reports an escalating Russian sabotage campaign targeting Western support for Ukraine, including railway disruptions and military base plots, alongside disinformation efforts to weaken support for Kyiv.

Oh. Oh I DARE you russia. I DARE you to try to push America around using airplanes and terrorism. Fuck around and find out what happens when you give America a REASON to attack an oil rich country with justified claims of fighting a war on terror.

America see's a plane explode midair, the very first thing that gets asked in this country is "Who did it?" And the SECOND that question is answered, this entire country will be calling for us to bomb them to the stone age.

See, the MAD doctrine only applies when you have sane, rational, logical people dealing with a situation. Have you seen this country? We're so trigger happy that we're going to malls and movie theaters and schools, just shooting anyone. We feel abandoned by our government. We feel hopeless. We feel angry. We feel irritated. We feel frustrated. We've been in a never ending election cycle for 24 years. Yes, I realize elections were every 4 years even before 2000, but at least prior to that it felt like politics went away for 3 1/2 years after each election. We've been in the 2024 election season since 2015. In no small part due to russian election interfearance.

We're at each others throats. We're ready to kill. We're ready to die. We're ready.......and now you want to become the target? You want to be the thing that unites us all, and says "You know what, you're republican. I'm democrat. We're both American.....and these fuckers just attacked US. YOU READY TO GO TO WAR FRIEND????" and that republican would pull 16 guns from his hip, his boots, his legs, his jacket, and who knows where else? And why does he have all these guns on his person? Because it's Tuesday! He'd say "We may have our differences, but take these 6 guns. I brought extras! I thought there might be a line for the buffet at cracker barrel. I wasn't going to face that without extra guns! Sure, I may have already had 5 on me, but who would face a cracker barrel lunch rush without an extra 11 guns, and whiskey???

And THIS is the country russia wants to start shit with???

Russia. I fucking dare you.

They're waiting to see what happens tomorrow. If they do this with Trump as president, he'll use it as an excuse to start killing his own people

Hey, uhm... Also I heard, that there's oil to be found below Putin's secret bunker.

Touch my boats, Russia. I fucking DARE you.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to subject any vehicle coming from a country that deals with Russia (cough China) to some additional time consuming bomb checks. They can't say it's tarrifs or unappropriate as there is a legitimate threat made.

Acts of war. Also terrorism.

Terrorists do what terrorists do.

Literally the day before the election:

[–] eran_morad@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago (1 children)

We ought to be engaged in a fully fledged hybrid war against the blyats, wreaking havoc on their economy and society through every conceivable avenue of sabotage and subversion.

[–] BreadstickNinja@lemmy.world 14 points 1 week ago (2 children)

We are engaged in a fully fledged hybrid war. We're just not fighting back.

[–] eran_morad@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Literally as you typed this Russia was calling in bomb threats to Georgia polling locations in an attempt to disrupt the election.

May you one day find a long enough lever to pry your head from your ass.

Pretty sure all bets are off since the zio terrorist attack on Lebanon.
