If you draw a line to unite the right edges of the 2 curves, you got the back side of a fish.

I'm guessing you're right next to a cat when you made this comment.

Honestly, we could expect the inanity graph to be inversely correlated to intelligence. You only need one of those lines.

[–] Eheran@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

Correct. Author must be close-ish to a cat.

[–] Mercuri@lemmy.world 16 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I thought it was just a given that you need to constantly remind your feline companion that they are, in fact, a cat.

[–] i_love_FFT@lemmy.ml 12 points 2 months ago

Yeah, otherwise they think themselves human and want a seat at the table.

It bothers me that FAR is near what’s usually the zero and NEAR is, well, far.

[–] dunyol@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 2 months ago (1 children)

We can have a little suspension of disbelief to ensure the joke lands

[–] Gormadt@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 2 months ago (3 children)

Warning for everyone: that's a tvtropes link, don't get too sucked in. It's like a black hole.

[–] dunyol@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 2 months ago

And they know it themselves (warning: also a TVTropes link)

[–] vaquedoso@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

This warning saved my life

[–] TexasDrunk@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

In that case, I'm going in. See you all tomorrow!

Edit: I'm back. What year is it?

[–] Eheran@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

So you feel like a 0? But seriously, there is no correct way for it. But in this case far on the left makes sense, as that is the reading direction of most, so the joke "lands better".

The graph is pretty shitty

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 9 points 2 months ago

[–] modifier@lemmy.ca 6 points 2 months ago
