I was a stupid young man. IMO, most of the reason younger people are less likely to vote is that they are far more likely to be in jobs that, one way or another, provide less opportunity to go vote. Plus they are less likely to be able to afford to take time off or pay for transportation.

Of course there's vote by mail in many places now, but one of the dumbest moves (for their own interests) conservatives have done is to call into question the legitimacy of mail-in ballots - now conservatives I've heard speaking on the matter refuse to use mail-in ballots, which I suspect will end up meaning that some conservative voters that don't have the time or means to get to a voting booth will miss out on voting entirely rather than send in a mail ballot.

I feel like this article is intended to make other people less scared about Trump becoming president again and decreasing their likelihood to vote. I'm not going to fall for the reverse psychology and I hope nobody else does.

I'm going to get out and vote and I'm going to vote for Kamala because I don't ever want to see that fucking shit stain as president ever again.

He bungled his covid response so bad that a million Americans died. All he had to do was follow the playbook Obama left him and his racism would not allow him to do that and a million people died.

Nothing anyone can say can top that for me. He as president killed a million Americans.

Yes, not all young men are stupid. That's an unfair stereotype. I do think it's fair to say that as a group, they're more likely to be too disorganized to vote, compared with other demographics, and I think that's doubly true of the subset of them that Trump is trying to appeal to by appearing on bro podcasts.

Just like in that documentary I watched last year, Barbie.

Kamala Harris leads Trump by a margin of only 54–42 among registered voters younger than 40.

With that headline...

Friends of mine in 2000 didn't vote because he was playing roller coaster tycoon.
