That's the fun part about working remotely. I end up clashing with good people who are easily misinformed.

My coworker in Florida gets fact checked daily.

I used to do that with a couple of friends, trying to be a sanity check for the insanity they were being exposed to. But it got exhausting. They had people in their neighborhood who were feeding them horse shit constantly. It was worse than fighting against the tide.

I was thinking grifters gonna grift. I imagine they’re posting the “transformation” as promotion to gain followers, help launch their career as a talking head, or to sell something.

But why not both?

Hmm I think that’s just a receding hairline and unfortunately wide set eyes.

So there is a pattern of bad choices and a lack of common sense.

[–] FauxPseudo@lemmy.world 15 points 2 months ago

What I'm hearing is that they have a history of making bad decisions.

So 2016 he's against trump 2024 he's pro trump. Man just likes to be on the losing side

[–] Diplomjodler3@lemmy.world 10 points 2 months ago

Yeah, Donnieboy totally doesn't have a long history of documented racist outbursts. And hasn't constantly been using racist dogwhistles against his opponent either. Suuuuure, buddy.

That guy seems to have drunk a lot of varnish over the last eight years.

[–] Aqarius@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

As if the 2016 version is a model of sound reason

[–] Phegan@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago
