Anyone into witchcraft. Is there call for such a rare egg in spellwork?

Asking for a friend?
Just trying to imagine up some headcanon for why anyone would buy this and have it shipped across the country.
I thought the "after a few pints" bit explained that already!
And finally we know how the chicken crossed the road, but we still don't know why..
One in a billion seems like some pretty good odds of one turning up pretty regularly, given how many eggs a person eats per year. I think it's more rare that it made its way into a carton and wasn't caught by QC and turned into some other product where they can use imperfectly shaped eggs.
Lol wtf. I've seen two spherical eggs. I didn't think much of it and just ate them.
Finally, found the prefect specimen for all my physics demonstrations.
A spherical cow?
I refuse to believe this Mr Pownall who bought 1 egg for £150 was sober lol
The article suggests he probably wasn't. My friend does drunk eBaying - his wife is less than impressed.
