The itch won't inhibit my eating, drinking, speaking etc, so that one.
Would You Rather
Welcome to c/WouldYouRather, where we present you with the toughest, most ridiculous choices you never knew you had to make! Would you rather have a third arm that's only useful for picking your nose, or be able to talk to animals but only if they're wearing hats? Yeah, it's that kind of vibe. Come for the absurdity, stay because you've clearly got nothing better to do with your life.

I'd go with the itch. In the 1 out of 1 cases I know of where someone had chronic hiccups, they ended up going to jail for murder.
Those are bad odds
Suicide will be easier with just an itch.
Edit: Wait, no! We have euthanasia here. Hiccups so I can get medical sign-off.
Jesus fuck man
TBF I don't know how serious I actually am about that, we'd see. They both sound like hell though.
The itch would bother me more, but the hiccups would bother other people more. I'm not sure which I would choose.
fuck others if I have to suffer then everyone else can suffer too
edit: figuring out whether or not I'm joking is left as an exercise to the reader
The itch would be impossible to prove and I'd just be seen as a grumpy asshole, at least the hiccups can be understood
I get chiggers at my camp about every weekend in the summer, no matter how much bug spray. One itch would be a relief.
Scratching an itch feels good even when it doesn’t actually go away. I’ll take that over hiccups since they’re nothing but downside.
That is the most frustrated I've ever felt!
