So femboys are not trans, yes? I accidentally called a femboy dude and felt bad about it, but then I was like, "wait, no, they're just a boy who likes girly stuff, it's OK to call them dude, right?"

I'd ask them but don't want to be rude(r).

Well MOST femboys don't identify as trans women, some of them do, not to be confused with transmasc femboys, They also exist.

Depends on the person. I tend to use "guys" and "dudes" as gender neutral and nobody's ever corrected me, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
