In 1992 the black metal band Immortal made what is considered to be one of the worst music videos of all time: Call of the Wintermoon
Immortal is actually a really great band if you like black metal, but the video is painful to watch lol
Nah totally hilarious and endearing!๐คฃ
Lol wtf
Some of their other early videos from the 90s are pretty cringe too, but this one by far is the worst lol
I was just getting into black metal in the late 90s so I guess I completely missed this video. Lol
That's about when I got into it too! I got a lot of the early 90s stuff when I started working at a record store in 99 and I found that the late 80s/early 90s black metal scene was a very strange place lol
A classic!
Idk what you're talking about this video is kvlt as fvck.
Got some Return to Oz mixed with a highschool AV club movie vibes
Isn't it just voluntarily cringe to be fun? Looks like it to me tbh
I read some interviews about it, it was supposed to be a serious video. The band members said the production company only gave them 2 hours on the day of shooting and then kind of made fun of them later. They were pretty pissed at the time. If you look into the history of black metal in the early 90s they really all took it way too seriously lol
