I really hope this doesn't lead to settlements on the moon. I saw this post earlier and since then I've been imagining huge industrial factories on the moon, crushing the glass beads and processing the water for human and agricultural consumption.

The thought of humans getting off world and parasitically destroying more habitats to fuel endless growth, is horrifying.

The life long scifi fan in me is sad admittedly as I've spent my life reading and watching stories of space, aliens and marvelous technologies, but we are not a responsible enough as species to leave this dying world we've built for ourselves.
