I hate battle royale games. Every time I play them i get anxious and nervous, I cant take it anymore

I have played Apex Legends since it came out and I have about 900h between both steam and origin (mostly played during covid).

Since I stopped playing this rage games I feel much better

Steep learning curve, having to wait to join a match in order to play, and not having time to just enjoy the world are my big turnoffs. I would love to run around a PUBG map with just like AI bandits and some animals

It's funny that you mention that, because I wish that were longer sometimes. I feel as though matchmaking prioritizes fast match times rather than accurate matches. So I often am up against incredibly good opponents and the game was lost from the start

That's an interesting point. It was frustrating from a new player's perspective to have to wait around and get thrown in with no knowledge to eventually get killed without any sense of progress to then repeat the cycle, but for ranked games I see how longer queuing times could help.
