I heard that sites like happymod or modyolo are filled with malware so i don't trust those mods, so im searching for a more trusty and direct source for the mods from dexunpacker (specifically that deezer mod on it's last version), and also i want to keep a kind of direct way to access the dexunpacker mods in the future

Any torrent from TorrentLeach that I try cannot be added to qbittorrent, if I press F12 in Firefox and try to a torrent I see the error [HTTP/2 415 Unsupported Media Type 19ms]. If I try a torrent of say Debian or Ubuntu it works just fine. Anyone else seen something like this before?

Hey, A few years ago when I had no money for Spotify or YT Music I almost exclusively got my music from freealbums.org Yesterday, just out of curiosity, I wanted to visit the site again, just to find out it went down. It doesn't really surprise me much, considering the recent takedowns we pirates had to endure. Does anyone also used that site and knows of an alternative? I really liked using it back then, because it had Direct Downloads, super fast releases (I remember getting a new album a few days before you could buy physical or digital copies xD) and also a rather good UI.

I’m active on a few popular private trackers that handle my needs for new releases of tv shows.

I’ve found I have a lot of trouble finding torrents for older episodes though. Anytime I want to watch a full series from the start, it’s difficult to find all the older episodes or seasons of a show.

Anybody know of any private trackers that are good in that department?

I can't afford my VPN this month. Normally I'd just grab stuff from nyaa but not this time.

E:Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up going with 9anime and it's super clean.

Hello :)

I'm looking for a plugin for jellyfin that does these things:

  • gives the database of plugin from a piracy streaming site/torrent site
  • when a user clicks on the media, the media gets downloaded from the piracy site if it isn't already downloaded
  • the media isn't deleted afterwards but instead remains there indefinitely as a cache

As the lemmy.ml admins expect a heavy load on their servers in the coming days, I've decided to run my own lemmy instance to be the dedicated forum for /r/piracy failover.

If you already have an account on lemmy.ml, you can continue using it by accessing the new community via https://lemmy.ml/c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

You can also continue posting on this community as well, not going to stop anyone :D

Ahoy new mateys!

Just thought I'd repost a couple of little bash scripts I use to download and watch series.

notflix

This one searches for torrents, then live mounts the first result, e.g. :

./notflix.sh nina paley sita

That command should play Sita Sings the Blues, by Nina Paley.

Requirements: vlc or mpv, and either btfs or peerflix.

torrench

This one searches for a torrent, gives you the top few results, and starts torrenting what you select using transmission-cli.

Requirements: transmission-cli

Also, if you're on Debian et al. you'll have to change where the script says systemctl start transmission to systemctl start transmission-daemon.

Reading https://overengineer.dev/blog/2019/04/08/very-precarious-narrative.html explains vulnerabilities to VPNs. I was aware of several of them, but some I wasn't.

Are VPNs still useful for torrenting?

I currently pay for YT music premium but I'd really rather not give Google my money.

  1. Saikou: IMO this is the best anime streaming app for Android. It supports multiple sources, subtitles, picture-in-picture and so much more. It is open source. You can also read manga on it!
  2. Aniyomi: Aniyomi is an unofficial fork of Tachiyomi, a dedicated manga reader. So you can stream anime and read manga from a single app. Like Saikou, Aniyomi supports multiple sources.
  3. Cloudstream: Cloudstreaming is a great streaming app which you can not only for streaming anime but also for watching thousands of TV shows and movies. The app also has features similar to the above mentioned apps but does not have a manga reader.

If you use any other anime streaming apps, please mention it by leaving a comment.

The reddit piracy community was in a neverending struggle to avoid being banned from the site, constantly censoring and restricting what people could post to keep the reddit admins happy. What's the situation with that sort of thing on lemmy? Is it a free for all? Same situation as back there? Something in between? I guess we may all find out together...

Have tried and failed to find the Spanish filmed version of the 1931 Universal Studios movie in the usual places and have not found it even legally (save for some VERY overpriced VHS tapes i cannot even use), have you seen it anywhere?

It seems like there is very little pirated content for schools (textbooks) in the piracy scene. Here in Germany, e-books are becoming normal in education.

So I ask you, especially the Germans among you, if you know of resources for pirated textbooks used in schools and if you are interested in such.

Such books as PDFs are actually useful, as you might imagine, since proprietary apps (several) are standard.

I love having full control over my music files, but one of the major pain points is moving between applications. Say I start using plex, get real comfy with my playlists, then one day I decide to try out Jellyfin. Sure, I still have all my music on there, but none of my playlists.

Is there some sorta solution I'm not aware of that allows for migration of playlists across platforms / applications?

He y'all, same db0 as usual, posting from the FHMY instance. As we expect a big surge of pirates and lemmy is urging people to also utilize other instances, please consider accessing this community via FHMY: https://lemmy.fmhy.ml/c/piracy@lemmy.ml

You'll need to make a new account in that instance but you'll be able to see the same posts as here.

Picked this one for having hassle free LTE internet that I would be able to flash it for the stick version where there is no NAT, the carrier assigned ip is directly exposed without restrictions. It has also very good compatibility with Linux.

I found this blog article where the firmware E3372h-153 21.180.01.00.00 is mentioned. All the links are dead and it's so difficult to find anything with Google now that every single piece of information is controlled.

Any idea where I could look to find this kind of files ?
