Better known as OG Kid Frost’s most popular song, La Raza is considered one of the first successful Latin hip hop songs. The song also recieved recognition after being featured in Rockstar games extremely popular video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, playing on the West Coast hip hop radio station Radio Los Santos.^[[1] https://genius.com/Og-kid-frost-la-raza-lyrics]

Guru enters storytelling mode and shares his experiences with girls. They all end up the same way, as he likes to move from ex-girl to next and leave their problems in the past.

The track’s intro and hook parts use a sample of “Funk It Up” by Caesar Frazier.^[[1] https://genius.com/Gang-starr-ex-girl-to-next-girl-lyrics]

If Digital Underground were able to make more consistent albums then they'd be my favourite group ever. The best tracks are unreal but then the skits, etc. drag the whole thing down on repeated listens.

Galiano is a UK group that occasionally mixed acid jazz and hiphop back in the early 90s. Nice subs, relaxed grooves and rhymes, bit triphop vibes. This one is from their second album, A Joyful Noise Unto the Creator (1992).
