Which in this context just means multimodal LLM, correct?

But that's the french's fault.

Let's be honest. They certainly plan to, but first they're gonna see if saying "Apple Intelligence" a bunch is going to convince people they actually did something innovative.

Yeah this is probably just straight up misinformation. By no means is a diagnosis going to be made by a generalist multimodal LLM. Diagnosis is a literally a binary classification (although that is an oversimplification) and on medical CV you are optimizing on that directly.

Did you miss the memo that current AI is already using more power than everything we've managed to save with green energy in the last decade?

You got a source on that? Cause that sounds fake

I think it feels reminiscent of an explainer and that kind of gives me the ick. Maybe I'm being silly though

Literally hundreds of civilians killed to rescue 4 hostages. I don't know what happened but I can guarantee we will be hearing more about it.

Not a huge fan of the title but this is breaking news and I think the AP can be trusted to at least get the basics right.

I believe librera and koreader are really the only names in the game atm

It's not that they don't want an algirithm. They just don't want one that's profit motivated.

Are the apps not compatible?

They can always claim the second even when it's the first.

This is an older article, but I'm mostly curious what y'all think about newsmast? Have you used it?

With !twoxchromosomes@slrpnk.net being closed due to being unmoderated, there is something of a vacuum for active safe places for women. What do you guys think the future should look like, and how do we get there?

TLDR: New REBCO superconductor can operate with significantly less insulation, allowing them to be built much smaller. Thereby making critical space for other components.

From the article:

“The standard way to build these magnets is you would wind the conductor and you have insulation between the windings, and you need insulation to deal with the high voltages that are generated during off-normal events such as a shutdown.” Eliminating the layers of insulation, he says, “has the advantage of being a low-voltage system. It greatly simplifies the fabrication processes and schedule.” It also leaves more room for other elements, such as more cooling or more structure for strength.
