That's very inspiring of you but the instance admin is still the admin and can do whatever he wants because he pays the bills. If the admin says "no banana for scale" then it is.
Same here. 13 years old account. I mostly used RiF and didn't even bother installing the official app. It's sad because I really enjoyed using Reddit before RiF closed.

These guys/gals ( or whatever) have their pride party. What do you think they are celebrating? The right to fuck each other in the ass? Of course not. They are celebrating the right to live while not being persecuted, beaten up or burned. They are finally celebrating freedom after centuries of persecution. It is not awesome to be LGBT. It is however awesome to not being afraid of getting beaten up in a dark alley at night.
