Honestly, anything over 30k wouldn't really be worth it. Way easier to get a nice vacation and some therapy sessions for the same money instead of being that mad at someone.

Everyone should have at least Lucky Patcher installed anyways 👍

Yooo me too! Moths freak me out more, but butterflies are pretty close. I usually just hide under a big blanket whenever a moth makes it into my apartment and let my husband handle it, but he recently moved out for work. I only cry a little bit when I have to confront them myself 😎

I also can't stand Jellyfish to such a degree that I refuse to go into any open water. Even stuff like lakes and Rivers, which probably don't have Jellyfish, but the idea just freaks me out too much.

The only memory I have of my 3DS is being really into a game and playing for so long that I was really really hungry. Then I turned on the 3D slider to get motion sick and not hungry anymore to continue playing the game. Perfect problem solving skills here.

But is it OSHA approved?

Well, they'll be way too old for childcare by then though??

Whoever actually posts to Linkedin is already lost in the sauce I'm afraid

We have so many Roman Ruins here in Aachen (Germany) cause this used to be a hotspot for Thermal baths back in the day. I don't think there are full roman buildings still hanging on though, just a few arches and columns.

I held a basic digital security course for the 6th-8th graders when I was in 12th. My favorite topic from that was Phishing and Password theft.

I only had the time and resources for some PowerPoint slides of emails, where students could point out what exactly is suspicious but that wasn't very engaging.

If I had the time though, I would have set up some trackable links for the students and told them to try Phishing School staff and their friends/parents. It would have been some free pen-testing for the school, plus students would have been way more willing to internalize information that allows them to do something "naughty". The main point is that most digital risks don't come from some high-concept hacking, but from social engineering and a moment of inattention. Everyone can fall for it, no matter how smart they think they are. I think that's an important lesson to learn.

Do they still sell the Pipetting silly straws somewhere? I was in a Bio lab last week and they didn't have any (but still told everyone to NOT pipette the E.Coli with their mouths) so I really want to try that now

I've been great at killing every plant I own within a few months. So guess my surprise when the golden Pothos I bought in March actually survived long enough to be propped and repotted!!!

I also bought a small (but very overgrown) Marble Queen Pothos a few weeks ago that has been doing okay! Not much growth, but also not dying yet! whoop whoop!

...aaand I may or may not have impulse bought a Large Form Monstera Deliciosa Cutting yesterday. Let's see how that goes lol

Heyhey!

Also wäre ich tendenziell bereit, andere Marken auszuprobieren.

Must have:

  • Android ohne viel extra vorinstallierten Kram (also wäre Samsung schonmal komplett raus)
  • SD-Karten Slot

Nice to have:

Also irgendwas Gorillaglas ?
  • Akkuleistung für so 2-3 Tage

Komplett Egal:

In 1809, the Czech invented mathematics. But they kept the secret to themselves, making all other countries dependent on them for calculations.

Which is why all businesses needed to have a Czech person on hand to process payments. Which is why we say "I'd like the Czech please" in Restaurants and "I'd like to Czech out" in hotels to this day.

Royals aren't exactly the most trainable snakes and Revy still isn't super comfy with moving very far, but she's great at orienting towards the target and did really well today 🥰 I'm very proud of her!

If you wanna know more about Target Training, check out Lori Torrini on Youtube! She's pioneering the whole concept, and really really knowledgeable about snake behavior and cooperative care 💕

I'm so confused, is this a new thing?? I was looking for German People's experiences with Narcolepsy and Google suggested a Reddit thread about athletes with Narcolepsy. It was in German, so I just assumed it was a German author, but it quickly became weird when the author said "you" instead of "y'all" and mentioned upping his running miles every week.

I checked at the top any yep, there was a little "See Original" button that translated the post to English.

Am I alone in thinking that this is kinda weird and icky? Like this are people speaking about their personal experiences, just pulling their words through automatic translation can kill so much meaning and context. Not even to mention that it makes the search engine result useless for me, as I was specifically looking for German posts :/

There's been a noticeable change in her face shape in the past few weeks! She's around 440g and almost a year old now, so she's almost a subadult.

In comparison, here's what her face looked like just a few weeks ago:

The weird creature that steals her poop has now stolen part of her door (she was struggling to fit through it after her last meal)

The audacity!

I've been messing around with my Pizza Dough recipe for the past 3 days 🐱

The goal was to scale the recipe to two portions (∅25cm) that taste best after around 16-24h resting time. I like my dough fairly thin, but more chewy than crispy. I also go heavy on the toppings, so it should have enough structure to hold them up by itself after the first two bites or so. Most Pizzas here are topped with 250-ish grams of chicken, pickles, pickled red onion, bbq sauce and whatever canned corn-mix I had on hand.

image: Pizza

The first Pizza had way too much dough, and I had it in an initially cold pan on a pizza stone. It stayed very soggy in the middle 😕 I also only put oil in the pan, no flour. So it got super stuck.

image: Pizza 2

The second one was light years ahead, way thinner dough and I blasted the pan on my induction stove until it sizzled before putting it in the oven without a pizza stone. The bottom turned out exactly how I like it!!

It still got a little stuck in the pan, as I used oil and too little semolina flour.

image: Pizza 3

Pizza 3 was the best one! I went very heavy when coating the pan in regular flour (instead of semolina, i dont like the texture) and pulled up the crust on all sides so that it wouldn't stick so much. It didn't, and I kinda like the look! This one I also blasted on the stove beforehand and put in the oven with no Pizza stone.

The (current) dough recipe:

  • 150g Pizza flour
  • 150g water
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/8 tsp dry yeast
  • 6g salt
  • 3 tsp vital wheat gluten (sold as Seitan base)

-> mix everything to a very watery crepe-dough consistency and let sit for 20-30 mins

-> add 100g more flour and knead to a Pizza dough

-> let rest for at least 12h, but 16-24h is even better

-> bake it as hot as your oven will allow, mine has a Pizza setting that does 250°C

I'll probably tweak it even more when I get into the mood for half a week of Pizza again 🐱 I'm thinking that I should be able to get the exact same result from using regular 403 flour but with 4 instead of 3 tsp of the vital wheat gluten. But I might have to scale up the water as well in that case, hmm

They're this weird yellowish-blue and I think that's pretty neat

Revy's going into blue 🐱

She's really needing it too, her last shed was at around 240g bodyweight, now she's well above 330g and was starting to get some pretty visible scale spread.
