For times when you want to do nothing but watch youtube, learn to knit or crochet so you can feel a little better about doing something.
Outdoor gardening is surprisingly easy to get into and it is super cool to see how big plants can get with a little water and care. Also it’s like a pet in that it helps you get out on the bad days since they need tending.
I have till the 12th for mine so there’s still time to procrastinate.
I love this and will bookmark this and proceed to forget about it until I randomly find it while looking for another bookmark.
There is a lot of overlap in symptoms and in my experience a lot of ADHD adults (maybe especially women) are (mis)diagnosed as depressed before getting ADHD diagnoses and on medications. There can be some differences, like symptoms being continuous throughout your life despite not feeling depressed, having periods of hyper focus, or areas that you excel in.

You could do an obstacle course or pieces of one, like a balance beam, monkey bars, gymnastic rings. Some people do full-on ninja warrior shit. And it’s also possible to put in drought-tolerant or native plants that mostly only require work in the first couple years of getting established.
Yes this feels like the real reason but they don’t always have the self-awareness to understand the basis for their opinions and have never had the need to take that deep-dive into questioning why they hold the beliefs they do.
It is so ironic that conservatives have no issues with teenagers getting breast augmentation surgery as long as they’re biologically female, but have an issue with trans surgery for ADULTS. Coming from a religion where tattoos or non-ear piercings are expressly forbidden but breast augmentation is a-ok, it’s almost like it’s more about towing the line of what they deem socially acceptable than it is about any concern for people.
