When I heard they were going to finally make Wheel Of Time I joked that to be true to the source material there would need to be at least one shot of an incredibly intricate dress that zooms in and shows every tiny detail of the fabric and beadwork and stitching that lasts for about 2 minutes, to match the lengthy descriptions in the books.
The fact that they're even trying at all is amazing. Yes they changed some things. Yes some people don't like the changes they made. That happens with almost every adaptation, ever. I'm really looking forward to season 2.
