In other news, the world's wealthiest people are running out of money after burning through the entire planet. Sources say one of the world's multi-billionaires purchased a law firm that was in bed with the RIAA roughly 10-15 years ago when music piracy was supposedly costing more money than the GDP of all the peoples of the world, combined. "The Owners" (as they have recently rebranded) have decided to collect on this unpaid debt from every living soul, and from all the multinational companies who have been long-established as having no living souls whatsoever. A nameless, faceless, pitiless representative was quoted as saying: "Resistance... is futile. Your life, as it has been, is over. From this time forward, you will service... us."

true, but if it was on any other network it would probably have been cancelled after season 3.

If you liked The Time Traveler's Wife then keep an eye out for Journeyman. It also only had one season, was also very Time-travely. Still worth watching.

Still worth watching, for sure. I really wish they'd done another season.

Oddly enough, Travelers was cancelled by ShowCase after 2 seasons. Netflix picked up the show and gave them another season, so they had a chance to wrap up the story.
Travelers is a gem. People should watch it.

Dark Skies. Slow Horses. Scott Pilgrim.

Season 2 is SO MUCH better than season 1. I'm glad they ignored the bullying online and kept making the show.

Resident alien is so great

if you're thinking of music from diamond commercials, it might be Spring by Vivaldi

Hello Beehaw. It's a beautiful Saturday morning. If your Saturday morning isn't beautiful yet, bring some beauty to your ears with our jazzy version of Rihanna's "Umbrella". Dan's voice is like butter on this one, and yes that's also him on his acoustic guitar. So much Dan: So much love.
We hope this brings you a smile.

Bob Jones called this out MONTHS ago. I guess now we know why the right wing keeps screaming for CBC to be de-funded.

they seemed to be leaking in from one particular instance I was subbed to. I unsubbed from that instance before coffee this morning and now I can't even remember which one it was, so I'm seeing fewer of them, at least.

Our second album of covers, featuring Bette Davis Eyes, Your Woman, Slave To Love, and Toxic by Britney Spears. Feel the love, feel the warmth, feel the fun. Feel The Len.

Our smooth and cool cover of the timeless 90's classic "(I could never be) Your Woman", originally performed by White Town.

Now give me back my wah-wah pedal!

One of our best-received jazz-pop covers so far. [The year ain't over yet, folks.] We hope this brings you a smile, and a swing to your hips if you are so inclined.

More from our second album. This time it's the 80's pop classic, with a synth-pop twist.

Surrendering to the darkness of love.
I'm not strong enough.

Hello Beehaw! We reimagined the classic pop song by The Cure with gentle acoustic instrumentation, and wrapped the whole thing in a velvety cup of warm cocoa. Please listen and enjoy.

My band makes covers of pop songs in a vaguely Leonard Cohen style. It was a fun idea we first had back in 2007 or so. We are The Three Leonards. Results are... unpredictable at best - as they should be :) For example:

Died In Your Arms (Tonight)

Have a listen, let me know what you think.

Here's a question you don't hear often: what if Leonard Cohen had performed a cover of (I Just) Died In Your Arms (Tonight) in the 1980's? What would it sound like? Would it have a bunch of parentheses in the title? These are questions that do not have to remain unanswered.

Believe me: you haven't heard anything quite like this before.

Posting our cover of the classic 1980's tune over here on Beehaw.
It was pretty challenging to re-imagine this one. The original's a classic.

I hope this brings a smile to your day.

For all the 90's kids out there.
For the record : there is NO "AI" on our tracks.

some sincere Bond vibes for your weekend. Watch out for the triangle solo in the middle.
