Yeah but if you don't sue, a legitimate infringer in the future might use not enforcing on the trademark there to argue there own case. Trademark law really doesn't leave trademark holders in a good position. Though I imagine that a lawsuit when those laws were written weren't nearly as prohibitively expensive.

Yep. People were mad at Blahaj zone admins at defederating from the porn instances but holy shit the liability when it comes to these things is insane. People don't seem to understand that an instance hosts a cache of all the federated instances that users visit. If something is hosted on one of the piracy instances that some corp doesn't like, they come for everyone who has that data.

There really isnt a good reason to limit upload unless you have other devices that need the upload capacity on your Internet connection. It's best to leave it uncapped. Limiting upload doesn't prevent ISP or Copyright holders from viewing your IP. Torrent clients will do this automatically if left un capped but you want it to be about 70-80% of your max real upload speed.
Have you limited upload? The BitTorrent protocol needs some amount of upload to sustain download speeds and throttling upload can mess it up.
