It has always been a very common term to describe the distro/OS of choice. Even moreso when linux was a bit less usable as a desktop OS and dual-booting was pretty necessary

Being cashless isn't the problem- poor systems by businesses is.

As of tomorrow, businesses are going to start building in redundancy rather than relying on one network

I was a Neeva user. It was good, but no better than DDG. Google is so bad these days that it isn't much better than DDG, aside from regional things

Recently they put in a small play area (swings, slide, etc) into a random empty block of land, and suddenly it's full of families

Removing interest-expense deductions for airBNB is a possible solution. This will somewhat switch the profitability balance towards rentals, while having a fairly minimal impact on legit owners who are AirBNBing a property that they own for the purpose of residing

Awesome that it's a mix of setups rather than just single bedrooms. This sort of development is badly needed

because the plans did not meet the council criteria for the site, they were considered “impact assessable” and open to public submissions both for and against the proposal.’

The council needs to get their nose out of it and stop getting in the way of development during a fucking housing crisis
