Buy 3 bicycles! 1st an electric commuter/cargo bike so you can run errands without a car. 2nd a road/hybrid bike for fun and exercise on paved paths. 3rd a mountain bike so you can enjoy more nature. (an eMTB if they're allowed on your local trails can combine all 3 bikes if you want)
Plex has started to enshittify as well. I switched to jellyfin because Plex had features behind pay walls and kept going "oops I accidentally changed your settings so you have to look at the plex home screen with ads for our streaming service".

Schengen zone, and to a lesser extent USA, show that capitalism can continue to function with a free movement of labor within relatively large and varied economic zones. This would continue to be the case worldwide, I believe. There remains significant barriers to movement even without borders: time, money, separation from family and cultural support systems, and more. There are people in the US and EU who want to "escape" their current state/country due to local laws but cannot do so despite it being perfectly legal to do so.

Remember around 2021 when the housing markets in nice towns near nature like in Montana went crazy cause suddenly all these tech workers were working from home?
