Chest puffing or defending their national territory? Why is the US military even active thousands of kilometers from their own territory? On the other hand the United States goes completely hysterical over some weather balloons, imagine that Russia also sent drones like this.

Like you say, absurd. China has no reason to stop its resistance to imperial conquest without any fight.

What rethoric?

Pixelfed always makes big announcements and then takes years to release anything. In fact I think they first announced groups support over a year ago.

Wouldn't want a shooter get hurt by police bullets, right?

I talked about the balloons from 1950s mentioned in your link...

In other words, everyone who has a different opinion from me is a nazi. At least that's how many people online see it.

Okay but that's completely unrelated to my comment.

Your article doesn't mention where these balloons were launched from. I read the same thing about pacific winds going from China to United States. Which means they were likely launched from Europe or nearby, just like pingveno says.

Anything to distract from real problems.

Who else would you suspect? Don't say Russia because that's ridiculous.

I think the most likely scenario is that China intentionally flew a regular weather balloon with bunch of western tech in it knowing precisely how US would react.

That's impossible because weather balloons aren't steerable. There was just an unusual wind. If it was really a spy balloon, the US also wouldn't have quietly allowed it to fly over Alaska and Canada.
