This line of attack against LLMs seems just foolish. The data was put into the public for public consumption. There is no right to control whether the data is used to train something; that's just something people are making up.

Okay, hear me out. Someone make a gold-farming bot on reddit, and take that money and donate to some lemmy/kbin instance. I think we found a way to fund lemmy/kbin! Reddit will do it for us!
It is like that already, but try, if you can, to imagine how bad it will get if the incentive isn't fake internet points, but actual money.
I know it's something of an unpopular opinion around these parts, but I could see this being much more likely if Threads does federate, which I think would be an overal boon to ActivityPub-based instances as a whole.
and honestly, businesses too. There is opportunity here in the business sector, I think.
We might have figured out why you get called a tankie, friend.
What could go wrong with giving a democratic government the power to strip voting rights from those people they deem unsuitable to vote on how they are governed? /s
Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act has been terrible, directly subsidising industry to move to the US, right when Europe is struggling
but, isn't that good for Americans? And isn't Biden the President of America?
That's a good observation. If you have the time and the will, it might be helpful to add this observation to the ticket I linked.
I may be misunderstanding this, but it sounds like you're running up against this bug where notifications don't work if the comment they reference is not on the first page of comments.
The option below the one I listed is for when you comment on "microblog" stuff. That one is default on.
I am not qualified (through education or experience) to give you advice on the issue, but you might have better luck from someone that is, if you add more context about the situation. Like, are you burned out because you're always stressed out, or you're siloed into one project, or you work too many hours, etc.
Any advice to mitigate the situation will need to be tailored to the specifics of the situation.
Oh, and don't necessarily respond with the context in a reply to me; edit the thread itself.
Good luck finding your balance.
Edit: I upvoted and boosted to help get more eyes on your question.
