Yeah I actually don't want ALL of Reddit to end up here and for it to replicate it. I like this much better. I feel like there are actual grown ups here.

I was out for a few drinks with work last night, and I've woken with a cracking hangover this morning. I was the oldest there by far and I'm still revelling in the fact that they all thought I was about 10 years younger than I am. They were genuinely gobsmacked when I told them I'm old enough to be their mum (mums?).

I've got a list of things to do today, and have my best mates coming round later for food... We shall see how much I achieve. I remember drunkenly buying a half dead lobelia plant for £1.50 from Tesco on my way home, and sticking it out on the windowsill, so I need to see if that's still alive as well. I'm hoping it might feed a few bees before it dies at least.

If it's eating your cat's poo (as opposed to random cats'), is switching to cat food that's not artificially flavoured an option? As I've been told by a dog owning friend that that's the issue these days, the flavourings make it out into the poo and so it smells tasty to a dog (bleurgh). I know how difficult it is to switch food for a cat though, and how pricey the good quality stuff is.

And also when we hear about the heads of logging companies serving long jail sentences for all the deaths of indigenous people they've been directly complicit in.

That's worse than last time I used it, which is when they were still giving free awards to use but you had to use their app to get them.

Maybe they won't, maybe they'll just stay addicted to clicking on bot generated content, and arguing with bots. Reddit has become yet another website that drives unhealthy and toxic behaviours, because profit, and it can be hard for people to get out of that. Honestly, thank fuck all this API stuff finally made a bunch of us leave, because I'm glad I'm out of there and over here, it's such a relief.

Camping shower. In a field with a swimming costume on, pouring a few cups of warm water over yourself.

Oi! The other one.

I'm so sorry. That's a lot to deal with. I have had life pull the rug out from under my feet, in a different way, more than once, so I can understand some of what you're going through.

Where in Portugal are you going? I've only been to Porto but I loved it. It helps that I really like Portuguese food though I guess, and hot weather. It depends on what it is about Portugal that doesn't appeal to you? In terms of cost it's probably the cheapest country in Western Europe, you may just be staying somewhere pricey though. Honestly if you want to turn it into a bit of a trip I'd explore a bit of Portugal, or Spain is right next door, it should be easy to get around by train. Have a look on Trainline, they cover most of the train services in Europe. If you can book ahead for the intercity trains it's usually a bit cheaper.

We almost unanimously, as a city of about half a million people, despise the Tories. The whole country could turn blue and we'd still be red.

Is there a cheese you'd recommend pairing it with? Something blue perhaps?
