Using old reddit on mobile in the past, I haven't experienced any of the reddit app nagging other than the GET REDDIT MOBILE banner on the frontpage.

I use Arch on my desktop and Asahi Linux on my laptop
The only issue that I have is with the hot and active sorting types -- hot gives me a lot of posts that pretty new and active gives me posts that are a day or two old. I wish there was a sort like the hot sort on reddit that shows posts that are ~4-8 hours old
redditstatus.com just updated, now it says that there is a major outage. No specifics though
Glad to see that the game has plenty of unpaid beta testers. I'll still wait for a sale (if it's any good)
