He honestly isn’t really my cup of tea.. I love stand-up, but his stuff always just felt wrong to me, and not like politically wrong but..

Norm-violating wrong.

(Hehehehehehehe)

My bad. I’m not a comedian. Idk where the line is between “so real it’s funny” and “so real it’s not funny”.. it’s just a thing I experienced.

So here we are.

Sorry.

Brambleberries aren’t something to throw kids at as a requirement, so good on you for “this is where they come from but it sucks” sort of mentality. As long as they know this delicious thing is waiting for them if they take a risk, that risk is all but taken.

If I could have eaten 2/3of the berries I collected, I’d probably like them. But being set to a quota made them undesirable.

Hey good to hear the need for speed worked out for you! I bucked authority by being a girl wrestler back when that was pretty rare in the US (still is, but less; this was around 2k), and I’m still all about challenging authority so that worked poorly for me overall ;) it probably hit a lot of the same dopamine/endorphin systems as running. So that’s great :) (genuinely!)

Not where I expected that to go, but then.. I never know where to expect comedians to go.. I think that’s the point.

Anyway, keeping to the subject, when I worked at the hatchery there was this guy.. he was the guy who killed all the male babies, and that was his whole job.. he was fucking weird, in a bad way, and we all gave him tons of space. It didn’t bother him at all to kill thousands of birds in a single day as just his normal job. That’s all.

Street dealing is desperation, a symptom, almost always socially inflicted.

If telegram is keeping the streets clean, that says a lot about the society in which it functions.

:)

(Every country has its own illicit market, it’s just where that takes place and what is restricted that matters.. no legislation is ever going to rid the illicit market. Ever. It exists for a reason, whatever reason. Just make the majority of it (self-harm drugs and the like) legal and the illegal rings for other stuff are a lot easier to spot. Those will be the things that should be illegal, not drugs which primarily harm adults able to consent to doing them. Let’s do the Portugal method of decrim and social support. Even if it isn’t perfect, it’s good.)

I’d pay that subscription. 100%.

I haven’t seen the shining, so this probably isn’t my bag, but I’m commenting to bump you up in the ranking for top posts of x period of time. Whatever that may be.

I hope it does well for you man! I hope the launch is spectacular; whatever you are hoping for and then some ^_^

I like drugs. I guess I should install telegram. Do the dealers just populate themselves as a service or what?

Thanks, random netizen, for telling me about a method to obtain drugs of which I was unaware!

(Jk, it’s not popular enough here for that, but if it was.. I’d still just use signal ;) )

This is meant as a joke, yes?

I wanna be sure before I laugh, because, like, I think the principled stance of vegans would probably limit their wartime activity..? whether or not there is food that isn’t subject to cruelty..?

I’m horrified by the logic if this isn’t a joke..

(I honestly don’t know how vegans feel about killing people who are drafted and such against their will, but it’s probably not significantly different from how they feel about egg-laying chickens..? Or at least it shouldn’t be..)

I know someone who won’t eat there because the chocolate lava bites lived up to their name..

You have a much better reason.

Not too many sonics here, also Midwest. The ones around here shut down because, you know, turns out only operating for a portion of the year doesn’t work super well for multi-region businesses.. and they never quite figured out how to ice over the parking lot to make it work with ice skates..? Because reasons.

But a&w.. for whatever reason they manage that dynamic just fine..? Or at least there are tons of seasonal locations still. But those typically have limited indoor areas and often function most of the year now.
